Nokia n95 creating your own playlist
If you have a Nokia phone, like N95
or similar, you might find that the music player repeats the same few songs and order of songs even though you may have thousands of songs on your mobile phone.
One way to resolve this issue is to connect via USB the phone to your computer then search on the mobile phone memory for the file mpxv1
and then delete it.
Afterwards you have to update or as it erroneasly calls it synchronize your audio again, but afterwards the audio order refreshes and you are freed from listening to the same order of songs as before.
The other option is to careate your own playlist
not buy using the built in mechanism that nokia provides, since if you have thousands of songs that would be a pain.
The key here is to create a text file on your own computer of the audio files you want in the list by using a simple directory reading program such as JDirPrinter . Note that you have to create full paths and that the drive name for Nokia to understand is: E:\ See image below
Afterwards, save the text file and change the extension from .txt to .m3u and drop it in the folder inside Nokias hard drive in the route Sounds\Digital\Playlists. Now after updating the playlist will show in your music player
The other day I passed by the Apple afiliate store in Madrid, since I live close by. The reason was to search for a specialized headphone with a next button (as in next song button) for the iphone. I had bought the iphone cheap after my music player was stolen, but am so dissapointed, I will sell the iphone used and get rid of it. It is nothing but problems. It is hard to delete songs. You have to have a copy of all the music files also on your laptop as that seams to be the only way to change anything later in the iPHone ipod player
. Then it is very difficult to go to the next song unless you pull the iphone out of your pocket. Then there is a problem where sometimes it starts skipping thru the song unless you restart the phone. Lame lame lame. A disaster. My guess is that the popularity of this product comes simply from people that are easily tricked into marketing schemes and flashy buttons. Oh, I forgot to say, that on the iphone unless you do special tricks you cannot store files on its hard drive or even access files inside the phones hard drive when you are away of home and dont have synchronization software.
Anyway, at the apple store I played a bit with the iPAD
. It looks nice and clear. However, when I lifted it, it felt like its weight was more than what the specifications said. Also it is really large. I've sean some people walking with it on the street and they look ridiculous. I cant believe anyone would want to use something so big to take a picture!!!! But I will not buy this "Fruit Seller" crap , because it doesnt allow you to connect an external hard drive via USB and access files freely.
