Economy : Paying for the mistakes of the rich bastards

Summary: A little rant about the last two weeks of September 2008 and the downfall of the economy and how it affected me with the banks going down the toilet.

It has been a long time since I have made an update to the site. At first I was upto my neck with work. Then the economic situation got really bad in the U.S in the last two weeks of September 2008. An unbelievably enough ended up affecting me!!! I was still in Italy when I heard about my american bank being about to collapse!!

Let's see a little bit:

I have a degree in Economics in the U.S. I took these pictures of the yearbook before having to throw it away because it weighed too much to bring it over to Europe when I had to redo my life.

As you see almost everyone in the book is asian!! I do have teeth , it just the reflection doesnt show it.

So among all my asian friends I felt a bit of an outsider sitting at the upper section of the large UC Irvine lecture hall. The lecturer, usually some straight white man in a suit, would talk about different economic theories. Most of the time I would listen and feel like saying: ""Shut your filthy hole!!"" . And I was right: "Shut your filthy hole!" Two times !!!

So if my bank would collapse the FDIC would issue "moi" a check. To simplify, say FDIC, is that money deposit created after the first depression to make sure peoples savings are safe. Scary thing is the banks that are collapsing are the biggest ones. How much of a deposit does FDIC have??? Apparently not that much as it is depleating going near ZILCH!!! Boy, what I didn't learn in 4 years of college I sure learnt reading scared as hell all the news articles. The more you read the more you realize how scarry and bad the situation is.

Then try calling the customer service of a collapsing bank... Guess?? I don't think I need to say more. When talking with the person at my bank in Spain about my experience whith the US people, he said its not surprising this is happening to them.

Now the icing on the cake is that all of us poor, working, tax paying "Savers" or depositors will be bailing out those gambling loan takin big sharks. The C.E.O of one of the collapsed bank, who everyone blames as being its fault, got 60 million in the bailout. How sweet for him! While the savers have to worry for the 2 pennies that took them 5 years of work to save.

I never thought I'd think so republican! But DO NOT BAIL THEM OUT!! NO NO Nooooooooo!!! LET THEM GGOOO DOOOOooooowwn!!! On the floor!! IN the mud!!!

Anyway I was hoping to have my life back up and moving, when the FUCKING air conditioning at my job gave me a little virus present. So I've got the flue. It's so stupid. The place we work is like 50 meters wide. When the sun hits the windows on the left of the hall, freezing cold airconditining air comes out of the right side (that is the opposite side) of the hall. Why??? I don't fucking know. But they dont do shit about it.
