With the arrival of December 2010 I am ending the campaign for my first song release Atish Bezanesh آتیش بزنش . So here in this post I'm collecting some images and material that function as memorabilia of these past two months.

One of the best things that happened during the campaign of Atish Bezanesh was discovering and working with the amazing session guitarist Hugh from Florida that re played guitars on the Hugh's New Guitar Remix of Atish Bezanesh by Dario Margeli. Here is part of the thank you letter I wrote him:

When I heard your amazing guitar work over my backing track, it made me daydream. It took me back to when I was a child in the seventies and the song Moonflower by Santana was popular. I felt good suddenly. A ray of sunshine appeared amidst all my problems and I got a fantastic natural high from it. You made me feel like a rockstar!!! Thank you so much.

Separately, I didn't write this to him, but now I am reflecting back... I should add that it is a pity that the lack of musical education in the community to which this track was targetted at, made it impossible for them to appreciate your talent sufficiently. I mean we are talking about people that didn't play your New Guitar mix of my track but played garbage with titles like " Mano in, ino Man" by some ugly monkey jumping up and down cars!! One is more likely to see women in a video by Mohammad Khordadian, than in the videos shown on channels that play these monkey looking rappers.

Above: As of December 13, 2010, the video had 4011 views on youTube for the New Guitar Remix. That is in addition to the 3951 views of the initial version. By the way this is youTube´s counter which is for real, unlike the fake counters some of these eyeRanian video sites have.

Above: While they weren't playing my video which in responses I know that for example women really liked the video, they were instead playing garbage by people with names like KAM KIR mamkir and fuckkir or whatever. What a Shame!

The idea that some of these people, including that individual in the above picture have of good music consists of trance electronic music, that uses pre-existing loops that come with dance music software packages. These are the same loop that just about every one and their mothers has already used. They like these loops being re-used again. Sure they sounds clean, but that is because they are taken off a protools loops library!!! Is that music? And the lyrics on top: Just hum the same existing anglo melody you´ve heard on the radio with silly Persian love lyrics like: "Eshghe tow royayiye .." and viola you have a song according to people like the above.

Above: The result is that individual like the Bulshitier above that goes around pretending to be signed to a big record company, which he isn´t gets played on these sites. And Iranians that don´t even bother to check, wereas in the western community it doesn´t take more than 2 seconds to figure out the bullshit level of the guy..

Above: Facebook was weird. It is amazing how snobby and idiotic some people can be when you ask them to share your video or to click the like button so the video gets distributed. Of 80 friends, only 10 people, shared my video. The other ones where too worried that the Gods of personal taste consistancy might have doubts on them if they share my video. LOL! Instead of seeing anything positive, they look for any excuse to bail out or to critisize. Anyway big thanks to those 10 good friends and the other 70 people they can have a guess what I think of them...
